I’m pleased to find a source of calcium that my body will tolerate. I have osteoporosis and need to take calcium but I’m also at high risk for heart disease and stroke so ordinary calcium is risky. I can’t wait to see the results of my next scan.
Product is excellent. Has assisted me in changing my Osteoporosis to Osteopenia in a 2 year period. This in combination with diet, Reclast and exercise. It also avoids clogging of arteries. Product is never broken or molded. The consistency of milligrams seem to be compatible with a balanced reading on my labs for calcium.
I’ve used New Chapter calcium slim size for ten years. It was rec’d by my doctor and I like that it’s a plant based product. I bought these smaller sized ones by mistake but like them too! Same product, just smaller size so it takes six small ones to equal the four slim ones.
This is a company I trust. I used New Chapter pre-natal vitamins for both pregnancies and at this stage in my life I trust them again for my bone health. Quality supplement easily digestible.
I take this to keep my 80-year-old bones strong. It works. I've had two falls in the last couple fo years that could easily have resulted in broken bones, but, no. I got up and walked away with sprains, strains, and bruises, but all bones intact. I love that this supplement has a complete formula to keep bones strong, not just calcium and mag alone, and that it comes from living food sources.
So glad to have found a supplement that will help with my bone loss and not upset my stomach. Looking forward to my next Dexa scan!
I bought these because the ingredient list is really great, especially for a calcium supplement. I don’t take the full dose, just one tablet to help give me a little boost to my daily calcium intake, especially at my age. The quality of New Chapter is always superior, in my opinion, they are one of my favorite brands.
I am very aware of the dangers of calcium supplements so bought this to supplement my diary intake on days I do not have much. Scared of taking full serving unless I can access definitive science on humans showing there is no risk of calcification but happy to take two with a meal.
