Organic pine nuts seem to be in shorter supply than what they usually are as I haven’t seen them for quite a while at my organic grocer. These are quite costly but if organic is important to you as it is me, they’re worth purchasing for that special touch pine nuts add to certain recipes. They taste great and a little goes a long way.
I use it to add good fats to every possible meal at breakfast, lunch & dinner. Just a handful will give you a great amount of Omegas. It's pricy for my current financial status but worth the investment. After all any brand of pine nuts is expensive. I like to use it to substitute parmesan cheese, seeds and panko in recipes. I also have made vegan cookies and muffins inserting these tiny nuts instead of other nuts and everyone has liked the flavors. I recommend it!
I have celiac and find it virtually impossible to find pine nuts (or most nut varieties, tbh) that are not made on shared equipment with wheat. BUT - BUT! I emailed Wilderness Poets and they told me they do not process wheat or barley in their dedicated facility. And the pine nuts are tasty! Well worth the price.
Healthy and high in protein, pine nuts are one of nature's quiet superfoods. These are fresh, tasty, and have a "soft" crunch. Very good snack or food topper!
I’m absolutely obsessed with these pine nuts—they’ve quickly become a staple in my kitchen! First off, the quality is outstanding: every nut is plump, golden, and packed with that rich, buttery flavor pine nuts are known for, with no bitter aftertastes or stale bits. I love that they’re shelled and ready to use—no tedious peeling, which saves me so much time when cooking or snacking.
I am not particularly a fan of pine nuts but this product exceeded my expectations ! the nuts are very small but delicious ! They have a buttery taste and you end up eating a lot ! it looks like they are a nutritional powerhouse and are definitely a good snack.
These are great and tasty of high quality and use for everyday or making pesto. The size is a bit small but great air tight packing.
These are not Italian pine nuts, but they are of great quality - nuts come whole, taste fresh and deliver a creamy texture upon chewing a salad or a grilled protein. I have not tried in pestos.
I could compare with other pine nut, as I had some leftover. This one was smaller in size(as is usual with organic ones) but the flavor was was much more stronger. Incomparable! I recommend it.
The quality of those nuts was great. But I discovered that I don't like pine nuts and their taste :) But that's my own taste, it's not the fault of those nuts.
