California Pistachios, Bright Green Halves, Unsalted, 8 oz (226 g)

I’m not sure why they go out of their way to call them bright green pistachios as their more of a olive or yellowish green in color. I wasn’t necessarily looking for a break green pistachios so I was pleased with the quality generally speaking. They do have a unique texture with a slight almost gumminess to them. It makes me think that they were steam treated to try and lock in the color which affected the texture of the ingredient. They have a mild taste with nothing particularly outstanding.

These are a convenient option for unsalted pistachios when you don't want to deal with removing them from the shell. I prefer the taste of these to roasted and salted since I like to add them to salads or yogurt. Despite being unsalted and raw they have tons of flavor! I like that they are organic with nothing added. They are a bit pricey but there is a decent amount in the bag and the quality is high.

These pistachios taste great. it's hard to find raw organic pistachios at a decent price, and these are good. They might cost a little more than the ones at the store but I don't want them roasted. It seems like they probably use a higher temperature for roasting than I would. I'm just very picky and prefer to roast my own nuts if needed. I love these raw.

It is hard to find unsalted pistachios, these are great. They are good quality, taste yummy. We use them in snacks, trailmix and biscotti recipes. It is just the pistachios for ingredients so very natural. The package is a good size not too small. Eat these frequently. The serving size is good.
