I take alcar on its own so I figured why not take it with other synergistic compounds that help brain health. I notice a boost in mental energy and wellbeing. Only downside is the magnesium stearate and stearic acid — these are fillers and my stomach is sensitive to them if I take too many supplements with these additives, then I get bad stomach pain — I thought this brand didn’t use them but I was wrong. I’ll see how I feel at the end of this bottle and if the combination formula is worth it or if I’ll go back to straight alcar no fillers after this but I do like the ALA in this making it a 2 in 1 for me.
Very thoughtful combination of medicinal ingredients that I have yet to come across in another product. I decided to start taking ALA+ALCAR to help with my sciatica (nerve) pain and I can say that since taking this supplement, in addition to a ginger supplement, my usual pain has significantly reduced. Then, when I ran out of the bottle, I noticed the pain is back so needless to say, I will be rebuying this product! There are numerous other benefits, such as cognitive and metabolism support. Great price, great quality!
My favorite brand of this supplement. I didn't notice any difference when taking it, but I sure noticed a difference when I stopped taking it.
