Good quality with natural ingredients..no added colouring..taste not bad..since I started using it for my toddler, I can see that his immune system improved..have been using it for 2 years now (current age 5 years old) and will certainly continue using it..frequency once per day..packaging acceptable

I bought this for my grandson because he keeps getting sick at his day care. I was hoping it would boost his immune system because I take Sambucol elderberry syrup every day and thank God, it works for me. However, the first thing we noticed upon opening the product is the bad smell. Then, there is the bad taste. My daughter-in-law tried mixing it into yogurt and cottage cheese and my grandson will eat it that way if he's distracted. You should have seen the look on his face when we tried to give it to him straight! it was as if someone had tried feeding him castor oil. I don't know if my grandson will agree to eating foods mixed with the elderberry extract, but I hope my daughter-in-law will be able to use all of what I bought. On a better note, it has all natural ingredients and no sugar. Still, it didn't prevent my grandson from getting sick yet again, perhaps because his infections are bacterial and not viral. Elderberry extract works best in preventing viral illnesses, not bacterial.
