Purchased for use with sensitive skin. Had been using the mainstream zinc shampoo option but that wasn't effective. Was using this frequently - almost every day. Determined that the issue was not resolved potentially due to irritation caused by the harshness of the other shampoo. Switched to Happy Cappy and saw visible improvement immediately. The benefits include the gentle composition and the quality. Wish it was a bit more affordable but the size is good since a little goes a very long way. Will absolutely repurchase.

I like that this shampoo is fragrance-free and essential oil free, so it’s less likely to irritate sensitive scalps. It has soothing ingredients like licorice. It was made by a pediatrician and I believe can be used by all ages, including babies. I like that the package has a pump, for easy dispensing. Overall, I recommend this shampoo for anyone having scalp issues.

This shampoo is honestly amazing! My 2 year old had really bad cradle cap since she was born and I tried EVERYTHING and nothing worked. I used this product around 3/4 times on her and and the cradle cap went and hasn’t returned since (its been 8 months) I also get dry flaky scalp so decided to try this on myself and honestly it worked a charm. Would highly recommend.

I have been using the medicated Happy Cappy shampoo with pyrithione zinc for several years now. It helps reduce symptoms of dandruff for me, and has been working consistently. I have noticed a reduction in flakes, itchiness, and irritation and this improvement has been retained over my years of use. I like that the ingredients are non-irritating for me, that there is no added fragrance (it has a mild apple scent from one of the ingredients, I think), and that is gentle on my skin despite being effective against dandruff. In terms of frequency, I use it every time I shampoo my hair, ideally 2-3x/week. I love the quality of this product, the size and the effectiveness. It is a bit expensive, but works great.
