Flush-Free Niacin, 120 Vegetable Capsules

I believe this product will give you better results than the FDA approved Niaspan. My physician advised me nine months ago to take the prescription Niacin because I would better results with HDL levels. However, my HDL has risen from 25 to 49 since I started the Bluebonnet Flush-Free 500mg. I am taking 2000 mg. a day with no side effects. My physician was really impressed! He told me to continue on with Bluebonnet, because of the great results.

I am still not sure if this dosage is not too high, of course, it's a water-soluble vitamin but it's still hard to say if it makes sense to take it in such dosage.

I have been taking these for about a month and have increased the dosage from 500 mg to 1000 mg. I haven't had a problem with a niacin flush. This brand was recommended by a local health food store and I have been happy with the product. After 6 months my doctor will retest my cholesterol so I'm anxious to get the results.
