We have two older dogs that seem to sometimes get into trouble so I purchased this in case of a wound emergency for them. However, we had a grooming accident and my hand was severely cut so I used this product to stop the bleeding and it worked so I would say it’s safe for animals and people. This worked when I couldn’t stop the bleeding this did the trick. Not what I intended it for but good to know that I can stop bleeding in any emergency. I would not only recommend this for my pets as there were not any issues with using this product on myself. We keep it in our cabinet for emergencies Now not only for pets but for people too. I would recommend this product.

You need this for nail trims if you do them yourself. Helps stop the bleeding immediately if you accidental hit the quick!
