Good anti-inflammatory for joints, gut and lungs. May cause constipation and is probably contra-indicated for people with gastritis. Terry Lemerond (aka Terry Naturally) is an experienced nutritionist and supplement formulator who swears by Boswellia and its health benefits. BosMed 500 is a good formulation, although it contains some unnecessary ingredients such as sunflower oil.

The price of this product keeps going up and up. With BosMed 500 you get the most advanced boswellia extract – real, expertly balanced boswellia with all the beneficial ingredients you need. While it works well, the NOW brand works literally as well for less than half the price. If you have the money to spend, buy it. If you are trying to keep costs down because you haven’t gotten a raise in 3 years, choose NOW.

I absolutely love Terry Naturally’s BosMed 500mg! I’ve been taking this daily since 2021 when I visited a small natural health food store and asked for advice after an incident where I had a severe allergic reaction to bath and body works scented plugins for months. During that time I was living off of a rescue inhaler and countless doctors could not figure out what was wrong with me. After we figured out the plugins were causing the severe breathing issues, I removed them from my apartment. Sadly, my lungs were still in major recovery! The wonderful ladies immediately told me to take this product and I couldn’t believe how fantastic it worked! I am also someone who regularly gets respiratory infections and sinus infections multiple times a year. Major benefit - Since I started taking these I’ve only been sick once in the past three years. I recommend it to everyone I know! Hands down best quality available. There’s no taste associated with the gel caps either. I hope they help you as much as they help me!

Boswellia, also known as Indian frankincense, is an herbal extract derived from the Boswellia serrata tree. It has been used for centuries in traditional medicine systems like Ayurveda, primarily for its anti-inflammatory properties. I am a supplement coach and used it as part of my surgery recovery plan, to help reduce post-surgery inflammation -- I had a very fast and easy recovery.

When I researched it, this Terry Naturals extra strength came up as one of the top two boswellia supplements, with this one being the more affordable of the two. I looked into it after reading about research showing faster recovery from concussion for patients taking boswellia, and I kept taking it as it also had a positive effect on arthritis pain. Using it together with curcumin, which I do, ups the ant-inflammation and pain relief effect. It’s on the spends side, but it works.

I take it for general pain, IBS and nerve pains, headaches, taking 1 softgel daily. Helps a lot. I pierce the softgels and keep the content of the softgels in my mouth and swallow it slowly, drop by drop. This way it can coat my esophagus. I know there are cheaper boswellia supplements on the site, but I don't even think about trying anything else, because based on the reviews, those are not this effective. With this one I think I get what I pay for. Thank you!

Works so well for dampening inflammation. We take this with TN curamed and the combo helps both me and my spouse with pain and autoimmune issues. Definite recommend.

We (and our dog) use several items from TN and have found them to be high quality and effective. We began using TN’s curamed over a decade ago and haven’t found another curcumin supplement that can hold a candle to it. Then we added this boswelia and it works just as well particularly for lupus-induced inflammation in combo with the high dose curamed. Downside: glycerin (from vegetable oil) and sunflower oil (high pufa).

I have discovered boswellia when I tried Curamin by the same brand, and my body aches disappeared overnight! It lead me to read more about it, and learn that boswellia is great for inflamation, pains and aches, female hormones etc, there are many benefits. I take it for pain management in a rare breast disease, my family takes it for colds, upset stomach, and arthritis. I take both Curamin and Boswellia and highly recommend it for their great quality.
