I've been using very low concentration retinol products before I switched to this serum and I was pleased to find this high concentration retinol serum (1%) as gentle as this one. My skin feels smoother and healthier the morning after I use this at night. I feel that it is also helping to clear post-acne marks that are left from my last breakout. I know there are many other high concentration retinol products out there but for this price point, this is a very good deal. The packaging is clean and minimal, nothing too fancy. The color scheme and appearance of the box and bottle are characteristic of the content inside it. The serum is a cloudy light brown or honey-like color and the texture is not too watery and not too thick. It looks goopy but it absorbs very well into the skin and the finish is clean, not tacky or sticky. There is no significant scent that I can detect. The overall quality is excellent and the brand seems straightforward and trustworthy.
