I purchased this to try as I like the powders better than pills as I know there is no extra additives. It is OK to taste and I add a little juice as well. I'm trying this because of the many benefits taurine supposedly provides. This has no taste so it's very easy to take. I love that it has no fillers. I've since read that taurine is an essential amino acid so it's only needed when sick or under stree. So I'll take this only when needed.
