Castor Oil Pack, Kids, 1 Count

pros: perfect size if you’re petite it cover the liver area nicely, very comfortable to wear while moving around cons: it can get saturated with castor oil with repeated use and starts leaking oil from the sides. The manufacturer recommends replacing it every 2 months but that’s inconvenient. pro tip: before washing it in a washing machine, soak it in an almost boiling water to let as much oil out. I usually place a weight on top of it to keep it submerged. Repeat several times until you’re satisfied. Then wash it regularly with soap/detergent in the washing machine.

I bought this pack hoping to avoid an oily mess and it does work so far but it has only been used a few times and some oil has already seeped into the other side even though we used an insert. It is now discolored, and it makes me wonder if it is not leak-proof after all. I feel it is overpriced for what it is and could probably make my own for a much cheaper cost. It is a good size for my 12 year old and would also probably work for my smaller frame. The straps are nice to hold it in place.

The product was well made and good quality. I bought the kid size but it fits me very well as I am small size. Although the ties is challenging to fasten while ensuring the oil doesn't flow down, it was secured throughout my sleep and there was no leak. Am very happy with the purchase.

Would be more encouraging for kids if there’s a colors or drawing on the outside layer

I would not recommend for kids older than 12-13 yo. Depends on the size of the child but approx one dessertspoon oil fits this pack at the maximum. Tends to leek to the sides easily. I find it messy so always wear recycable night panties with it.
