It has a nice tingling taste. It's the same as the product photo. It looks in good condition. It's too much to eat at home, so I wish it came in small packages.
Although it's made in China, I'm sure the manufacturer has done a thorough quality control. It's a delicious, mildly flavored Sichuan peppercorn. The quantity is larger than I expected, so I wish they also offered a smaller version.
