Buying Pau D’arco from my local herb shops is much more expensive than what Frontier Co-op offers. I use Pau D’Arco as part of my antiviral regimen and can feel the difference whenever I’m off of it. Normally I ground up the bark pieces on my own, but they cost similar enough to the shredded pieces that I didn’t have to worry about paying more for them.

Try it from about a third of a teaspoon, and if you have symptoms such as stomach upset or painful, it may be better to put some time or reduce the amount.
