I gave myself a 2 month break off skincare actives (ie. retinoid, azeleic acid, AHA) so I can repair my skin barrier. During this time, my skincare routine was bare bones basic; I used cleansers, moisturizers, and sunscreens that were only for hyperallergenic, sensitive, dry, dehydrated skin. After my break, I wanted to slowly get back to actives with my naturally sensitive skin in mind. I found out about PHA and how mild it is for sensitive skin and even claims to help repair skin barrier. I found this toner and starred incorporating it in my nightly regimen once a week as my only active. It feels and looks like water, and when I pat it on my skin, it tingled a bit but it went away after a few seconds. Woke up next morning and my skin had a slight glow! I increased my usage to 3 nights a week. Biggest change I noticed is GLOW, an even skin texture and tone, and my skin is baby soft. Highly recommend! :)

I bought this because as I am getting older, my skin is getting drier and I also live in a dry climate so I cannot tolerate BHA like I used to in my early 20s. This is a good alternative to cleanse the pores and get rid of blackheads gently without overdrying or irritating sensitive skin.
I've been trying to heal a broken skin barrier for months, and after an extended period with only gentle cleansing and intense moisturizers, my barrier improved enough that I felt like it could withstand gentle exfoliation. I read about PHAs being one of the best options for sensitive skin, so I decided to try this one, and I'm very happy with the results. I've used it once a week for about a month, and my skin looks brighter and clearer with no irritation.
I used to use a PHA toner product from Benton, which I really enjoyed. I decided to try a new PHA product. I have sensitive skin and I believe this product irritates it. I sense slight tingling on my skin after I use it. I’m not sure if this means my skin is adjusting to the product but I have been very cautiously using this product and using very little at a time, and infrequently. I will not continue to use this product due to the tingling. I don’t think I have woken up to particularly soft skin in the morning after having used this product as well, which I noticed after using the Benton PHA toner. I will not repurchase this product but it might work for someone else. There is no scent to this product. It comes in a plastic bottle packaging.

this is a very good exfoliating cleanser that is not harsh on the skin and it has moisturizing effects and yet it cleanses with stripping your skin of it moisture. it is good for dry skin .
This pha toner is mild on my 72y/o skin. It gently exfoliates with no redness. I use it every am It’s a great addition to my youthful skin care routine
This is a very nice product. It is mild on my sensitive skin but does a good job of exfoliating. I can use it twice a day with no irritation.
