Dihydroberberine is supposed to work better than Berberine and there is some truth to this. My blood glucose is better controlled. I have to take it together with food as there can be some stomach discomfort which will go away after an hour. I cannot take it on an empty stomach. Only one capsule daily is needed.
I switched to this because of the use of Glucovantage sourced dihydroberberine, reputed to have good quality control. I get severe side effects from anything more than 500mg extended release metformin. Since adding one dh-b capsule twice daily in combination with one metformin in the evening, my cgm graphs are much better moderated with lower peaks and I can use lower doses of insulin. I no longer get the gas, flatulence and occasional diarrhea from higher doses of metformin alone.

Really good, I have felt the difference, I am taking 2-3 a day consistently now and it's made a big difference to my digestion and overall my body feels refreshed especially in the morning.
Cant say for sure yet but I will update review after next test of AIC. Use this with a lower carb diet and some exercise to lower blood sugar.
