I bought this hoping it would be a coffee substitute. It has a cocoa aroma and a rich, brown sugar-like flavor from the molasses, and the sweetness is just a subtle, natural sweetness from the ingredients, which is very nice. Considering the price and the packaging (sorry!), I thought it was very flavorful. However, personally, I couldn't help but notice the malty taste. I think it would be very delicious for people who don't mind that.

I will give it 5 stars if it is cheap, but it isn't. The taste is good and gentle on the stomach. I have stomach issues so I couldn't drink normal cocoa because it is acidic. I'm so glad I found this! Good alternative. I have a happy morning because of this. My new favorite. The size is small so I only used one teaspoon in 1 cup of water.
