It helps not only to calm irritated throat that causes coughing, it calms gerd and reflux acid that causes that kind of cough. It tastes quite nice too. I need to have it on hand all the time for the night time reflux cough.

I have been using these lozenges for years for me and my family. These help soothe the throat when inflamed. Children can use them easily. Slippery Elm is good for stomach issues and diarrhea. More recently, I use them to soothe my throat after GERD episodes.
