The Round Lab 1025 Dokdo Ampoule (45g) is a really good lightweight moisturizer. It has a watery gel texture that feels light and absorbs fast into the skin without feeling sticky. It contains deep sea water, hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and panthenol which help give your skin deep moisture, calm irritation, and strengthen the skin barrier. After using it, my skin feels soft, plump, and hydrated. It works great in both morning and night routines. Perfect for sensitive or dry skin. I highly recommend it!
I was iffy on whether or not it was worth using when I have the birch serum. It is less sticky, but the bottle is rather cheap plastic. So the company is too greedy to use glass bottles like everywhere else? That part is weird, but it seems like the product is good so for
I have tried a few other hyaluronic acid based serums and toners before and this gives a slightly different effect. I would describe the feeling as more moisturizing rather than hydrating if that makes sense as this ampoule gives a less wet or watery finish but a more moisturizing effect, kind of like a transparent oil-based lotion if that makes sense. Overall the quality is highly satisfactory and I am pleased with the supple and clean effect this serum leaves me with. The packaging is very modern and eco-conscious. The bottle is a decent size (1.59oz) and the dropper is simple and user-friendly. I have oily and combination skin and this serum worked well for my skin type and I don't feel any sticky or tacky residue after application. I also do not detect any scent or added fragrance at all.
I love most Round Lab stuff because they're gentle enough for sensitive skin, don't have a scent, and made from quality ingredients. I'm surprised that this is lasting me longer than other ampoules that I've tried, but it's a great one for the morning winter routine when you want a little more moisture under your normal creams.
