I read in a book that pea protein is ideal for people sensitive to lactose and gluten. I bought two cans at once on sale. really impressed with the quality of this Vega protein. The composition is excellent because it includes greens and veggies, not just protein. The vanilla flavor is smooth and doesn't have that gritty texture common in other plant proteins. The package is sturdy and seals well. In terms of size, the 1 lb tub is a good starter amount. The main benefit for me is getting clean nutrition on the go. I love the ingredient profile; it feels like a complete meal replacement.
