I have gotten this brand several times and have never had a problem until the current bag I have. I bit down and got a pitt. Not a piece of pitt, mind you, an entire pitt. Luckily I did not chip a tooth!!! beware bitting into one of these prunes now.

These are the best organic prunes we've tried. They are perfectly moist, naturally sweet, and pitted, which makes them a very convenient healthy snack for the whole family. I love that they are organic and don't have any added oils or preservatives. We often chop them up to add to morning oatmeal or pancakes. Excellent quality and very fresh! Sad they are out of stock now!
These prunes taste great but I wish the package size was larger. They are of a very nice consistency: not too tough or overly mushy like others I have tried. I like that they are organic. And, since I have osteoporosis, there is strong evidence that prunes are especially beneficial for strong bones.
These prunes are very good, but they are not the big, moist shiny prunes some people are used to. They are rather on the small side, juicy enough and delicious. I'm sure this is because they are organic and so NOT genetically engineered. Great price and I've already ordered several times.

These organic prunes (I prefer "dried plums!") are quite moist and the best value for the weight of the package. I was surprised they were more moist than what I can find at my natural grocery store. I store them in glass jars in the refrigerator and they last a long time.
