Not a big fan of the scent as it is pretty strong and overpowering but it makes my furbaby smell like she just walked out of an expensive snooty salon & groomers... but it's just a tad too artificial and luxurious for my liking and it lingers and lasts a while. I was drawn to this shampoo in the first place because of the oatmeal component which is always great for my doodle's dry and sensitive skin. It really was pretty effective in minimizing hotspots and I noticed she was less itchy and scratchy during the week. I was using this once weekly and she was also noticeably fluffier and poofier and her fur was so soft and beautifully shinier... top model runway stuff (canine version). The formula is definitely effective in getting great grooming results... I'm just pretty skeptical about the listed ingredients. Rather than listing out the actual chemicals, they just indicated "natural cleansing agents" as the second ingredient (after water), which is always a red flag for me. Arsenic is natural and so are a lot of toxic compounds in our environment. If CHI is truly committed to quality and their consumers, they would just be transparent with their ingredients. I would much prefer if companies would just list out all the actual ingredients in their products for us to decide what is "natural" or "good".

The scent is very pleasant. It gently cleans even white fur, and it's best used with conditioner. It prevents tangling and leaves your dog smelling wonderful. I recommend it for dogs with thick coats.

The material contains natural plants and has a gentle scent. I don't like that dog shampoo contains harsh scents. The shampoo lathers gently. Excellent product.

Used this for the first time because I use the human hair spray and love the smell. They made sure that the smell is still great for dogs! Our dogs coat is nice and shiny and we’ve had comments on how good she smells already. Would be great if this was a bit bigger, but hey!
