I loved the original product, especially its exquisite tropical fragrance and 100% organic formula. The reformulated product is 92% organic. Its fragrance is not as rich as the original, but still leaves a nice lingering natural scent after it contacts your skin. The new product has luxurious lathering action. The original product didn't lather up easily. After using either formulation, your skin is left feel feeling moisturized without any filmy residue. The new bottle is better than the old one in all respects. The new dispenser lid is a flat disc that flips up on one side when you push down on the other side. You need strong fingers to operate it. It's not often that the "new, improved" product is better than the old one, but in this case it's true. Btw, full disclosure, this review was not incentivized and I am a male 71 year old consumer.

I’ve used Shea Moisture products for years. This body wash is a consistent go-to for me. It smells great but not overpowering and doesn’t irritate my redheaded skin. It won’t dry your skin like ordinary soap. I like the new bottle design; more substantial than the old. I also like the company’s fair trade mission.
High quality ingredients and smells really good. It really is moisturizing, treats dry skin, and helps especially during the harsh winter months. If you have sensitive skin it also helps with that.

The coconut fragrance is really nice. I like the new formulation, it lathers better than the older one and it’s a larger bottle too.

I really enjoyed this body wash. The skin doesn't feel dry after using it, and it does leave the skin feeling hydrated. It has a nice, subtle scent, and the consistency is nice too. Also, I like the package and the aluminium cap. It makes the product feel more premium.
