This shampoo smells strongly of something like fruits or peach. The consistency is on the thicker side, and compared to other shampoos I have at the moment, this one foams less, but it is enough to wash my hair in one go. I wash it every other day, but I alternate shampoos. After washing, my hair is soft and fragrant. I use it once a week.
Ever since the Avocado Greens shampoo from Shea Moisture was discontinued, I’m looking for a replacement! This shampoo is ok…the quality is good, as always but when I rinse it, my hair becomes a bit too squeaky. I prefer the moisture. Please bring back the greens shampoo! The smell of melon is great though.
I love the Shea Moisture products from this brand. Always quality products. The shampoo washes well. The smell is bittersweet because of the Kalahari melon or bitter melon. I always use conditioner after washing. Easy to comb, does not frizz.
It lathers very well and is good for my 4C type hair. A little seems to go a long way. It has a good smell, it can be a bit strong for people sensitive to scents. However it’s great
