I bought this tea because I like trying different rooibos teas. My first impression: 1. The flavor is quite pleasant, with a hint of citrus, but it's weak. You need two bags per glass to get a good tea. 2. The bags are small, see photo, and not individually packaged, just folded into one large bag (which doesn't close well). Conclusion: I doubt I'll buy it again.

This appears like the most interesting tea for flavor. The caramel added sweetness and warmth, while mandarin orange made the rooibos brighter and more aromatic. More flavorful and dessert-like than plain rooibos. Absolutely safe while you are pregnant.

But it's delicious. I've tried many different kinds of rooibos tea, but this one has a good balance and I reach for it often. I don't detect a caramel scent, but it might be playing a subtle role that I just don't notice.
