You need to wait for a bit before the mask will start to heat. But the warmth stay for a long time (>30 min). Aroma is very weak, after using Japanese steam masks wanted a stronger aroma for better calming effect.

These are such a relaxing little spa treatment that you can do at home. Once you open the package, it reacts with the air and starts to heat up and creates a nice steam mask for your eyes. As someone who works on the computer like a lot of people this helps relax my eyes and helps me feel refreshed. These are a great gift or add-on to anybody because they can do it at any point in the week and it only takes about 10 minutes but I find that the package is actually last longer for about 20 minutes. I also think these are good for sensitive eyes and they’re pretty gentle so even though they’re scented, they don’t bother Me.

it does the job for calming you. However, i could smell the lavender. easy to use. I took of 1 star for the scent. decent quality
