This is basically a snack or dessert in liquid form; it’s too rich to just be a beverage. If you’re the kind of person who occasionally eats straight-up melted chocolate (like me), you’re gonna really love this.
After trying Chocolat Chaud from Chocolatory Takas, I became addicted to hot chocolate (chocolat chaud). I was searching for something that wasn't just sweet, but something that had a real cocoa flavor and wasn't masked with artificial flavorings, something I could enjoy casually on a daily basis, and I found this. I wish it was a little richer, but the natural flavor and richness, not too sweet, made me think, "This is what I've been wanting to drink." It's a little pricey, but when I bought it, the price of one cup was less than the price of a cup of coffee at a chain cafe. I'd definitely like to buy it again as a daily treat for myself.
