The scent was a bit shocking at first... but after using it continuously, I got used to it and it started to smell like ointment. I finally chose this lotion after a long time asking AI about lotions that were relatively safe for cats to lick. Since the ingredients are good, as a cat owner, I can tolerate the smell. It spreads well and absorbs quickly, so it's not sticky, which is nice.

The ingredient list seemed so safe. I was looking for a natural, simple, unfragranced, and deeply moisturizing lotion—and this could have been it—but despite the name this lotion has fragrance. No added fragrance, but the scent is intense and it lingers. My nose can smell nothing else but olives. This smells like inhaling olive brine. I just can't do it. I applied it all over my hands and it applied nicely and felt good and seemed moisturizing, but I'm going to have to give this to someone else because I just can't do it. 2 stars for the potential quality.

The ingredients are good, and I bought the whole series; it's very easy to use. With scented products, a nice scent certainly lifts your spirits when you apply it, but after sweating or sleeping, the scent changes, and if it lingers, it's a bit awkward, and you become very conscious of whether other people are noticing that strange smell, so I'm grateful for this unscented product.
