At first, I didn't know how to get the brush out. I still don't know how to use it, so I put the powder on my hand and pat it onto my skin with the brush. I apply sunscreen cream of the same color first, then pat this on, and it looks like I'm wearing makeup, which is great! It protects against sunburn, and it seems to have ingredients that are gentle on the environment and people, so it makes me feel good! [Update] I looked it up on Chappy and it says, "When using, rotate the main body (or near the bottom) to the "OPEN" position, and turn the container upside down and shake it gently, or lightly shake your wrist (flick) to make the powder seep out onto the brush bristles." It seems like the powder is designed to come out naturally when you use it!

Love this makeup brush style sunscreen for kids. It is perfect for daily use and doesn't get your hands all dirty. We use this brand for all other sunscreen and this one did not disappoint.
