Sprouting Jar, 1/2 Gallon

I tried to sprout same broccoli seeds in the jar and in without it (just in a wet piece of tissue), so in a jar when you wash the seeds, tender, tiny little roots of seeds are damaging easily and it won't sprout later. And this jar is tooo big. Maybe it is suitable for beans but not for tiny seeds like broccoli.

I’ve been using the NOW Foods Sprouting Jar to grow broccoli sprouts, and it has been a great experience overall. This jar is incredibly easy to use — just add seeds, rinse them with water, and let them sprout. The stainless steel mesh lid makes it easy to rinse and drain the seeds without any mess. The jar is spacious, allowing me to grow a generous amount of sprouts at once, which is perfect for making fresh salads. The sprouts grow quickly and are crisp and nutritious, making them a great addition to my meals. However, the biggest issue I’ve encountered is the lid. Once it starts to rust, it’s hard to know how to deal with it. Since it’s a sprouting jar meant for fresh, healthy sprouts, I’m hesitant to use a rusty lid. This has made me wonder if I should look for a replacement lid or another method to keep the lid dry after each use. If you’re careful to keep the lid dry, this jar is a great tool for sprouting at home. But I wish the lid were more rust-resistant or easier to replace.

I have been using this jar for many years. I sprout green buckwheat seeds, mung beans and other grains in it. convenient size and capacity. high-quality glass and a stainless steel mesh lid that is fine enough to prevent beans from spilling out.

I like this convenient and big can to sprouts, very sufficient space and easy to sprouts healthy salads at home, other cans brought at other shops are too small compared to this one

This is the best jar for sprouting that I have ever found. The quality of the glass is superior and the screen lid lasts much longer than other stainless lids.

I have had these huge sprouting jars for a few years now and I absolutely love them: They still work very well and sprout my grains. I would recomment anybody who wants to sprout to use them, especially if you sprout a lot of sprouts, because they are bigger than the average sprouting jars.

I was pleased with the sprouting jar. I had read and saved info. from online about sprouting and watched videos however I have limited amount of space specifically in my kitchen currently and was somewhat concerned about attempting sprouting in my current living situation. I saw a sprouting jar at a local retailer. I decided to invest in a sprouting jar that will suffice my needs temporarily as opposed to other methods and material, due to the size of my kitchen and space in general. I didn't attempt as the instructions state to allow the sprouts to absorb sunlight for chlorophyll again necessary restrictions involving my current living situation. I live alone and my sprouting is only for myself. I found the sprouting jar to be very proficient. It made changing the water easy. The thickness of the jar enables the jar to maintain a temperature conducive to sprouting. I would recommend to place the jar in a location for sunlight for the chlorophyll. I was very pleased with the results and waiting to sprout my next seeds. I give the sprouting jar a 'thumbs up'..easy and convenient.
