I usually buy whole spices to make homemade curry powder - Cumin, Brown Mustard Seed, Turmeric, Fennel, Coriander, Cardamom, Clove, Black Pepper, Hing and Bay leaf, grind it to a fine powder, and then keep it in the fridge. I use a lot of the first five spices, and much less of the last five. There are hundreds of recipes for curry powders, this is just one of them.
