Love all of Dr. Bronner's products, but patchouli gets a bad rap yet this lotion is subtle enough not to be offensive to sensitive noses.
This product is fair trade, Certified Tilth Organic and has ingredients that are so pure you can feel confident using it on your skin. I bought this product after a visitor to my home was wearing it - i loved the muted patchouli scent that was blended with lime and lavender to create it's own delicious signature. Texture is slightly gooey and moisturizing capabilities i give a 6/10. If you enjoy the earthy, grounding scent of patchouli in a light moisturizer then I recommend this lotion.
Organic is key for me, and this lotion is without toxins. Love the spicy scent and the way the lotion applies and feels to the skin. It absorbs nicely for me.
very thin feel and hard to use as you need water on skin before using it but even in doing so my skin itches later as it dries which tells me it's not fully moisturizing. I like the smell/scent and quality of ingredients list as it's the only mass produced seemingly non-tox lotion so I will keep trying to make it work
The smell is so delicious and is now part of my daily routine and the size is perfect.
The entire Dr Beinnees line is wonderful next time I will choose a different scent!
I’ve been using this patchouli lotion for years and it’s my absolute favorite. The consistency is smooth, not sticky and spreads really well. This also keeps the black flies and mosquitos at bay while I’m hiking. People frequently compliment me when I’m wearing this. When I tell them it’s patchouli they’re shocked because they thought they hated patchouli but I find this one really becomes almost like a second skin.
This lotion has a nice feel although it is a bit thin and not the most hydrating. I like the refreshing smell but I think the lime is a bit irritating to my skin and overall the product doesn’t really leave me feeling deeply moisturized. I don’t find myself reaching for it as often as other lotions.
THE SMELL IS SO UNIQUE I REALLY LOVE THIS LOTION I HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN AND IT WORKS FOR ME.
