Product was actually recommended by our vet for our 12 yr. old miniature Australian shepherd. She had surgery to remove a large tumor on her liver last Nov. While it turned out not to be cancerous it was large so they had to remove1/2 of one lobe to get it all. The Dr. then recommended Milk Thistle specifically for her liver as part of the regimen to help her recover and get healthy. She takes one a day, we open the capsule and sprinkle the powder on the fresh vegetables we mix with her dry food. She likes the powder as much as the vegetables and she seems to be feeling great. We plan to give this to her from now on

In all honestly, I have been taking these for a while now, tried another brand before which didn't seem to do anything for me. It's the same with these. They might actually work well, but I am not noticing any results whatsoever. I am taking them for my liver as I struggle with jaundice. I can't say if they benefit me. Package is fine, size pretty small which I prefer.

The listing for this and the phytosome version are the same but actually are 2 different products. They shouldn’t be lumped together. The one I wanted is the phytosome one.

Absolutely beneficial for liver detox. Studies have proven that milk thistle can repair liver damage. A great supplement. I don’t notice a taste as I swallow them quickly. Good size package and seemingly quality ingredients that have normalized my liver function tests over time. Most people are unaware a natural product like this exists AND has been proven to work.

I'm serious: they have perfect ingredients, quality and size. But I need to be truthful and tell you that milk thistle from Now Foods had much more benefits for me. Natural Factors' milk thistle is mild and good for liver detox, but too mild to help me with my bile trouble.
