vitamins are always great quality. These are reddish brown gel caps. They are about the size of most multivitamins. Soft and easy to swallow. Some vitamin E gel caps can be punctured with a pin and you can use the oil inside on your skin. This is not the case with these. The liquid inside is also a reddish brown and very thick and sticky. I have used it on my skin, but more as a mask. I couldnt leave the house with it on. My main problem with all dosage vitamins is that the lids are not air tight. And in fact not tight at all. A lot of air gets in. I still buy them for the quality, but it is something to note if you are going to have them around for a while or not take daily.
