I love being able to purchase this bulk bag instead of the small jars at the market. They are too pricey!! I just refill my glass jars and I'm good to go!! I use a lot of mustard seeds in my daals and curries, so this is a must!!!

I add mustard seeds to anything I can get them into. So healthy and you only need a very tiny amount. Great quality and good price, will purchase again.
Excellent quality mustard seeds with a fresh, strong aroma. The flavor is bold and slightly spicy, perfect for cooking and homemade mustard. Seeds look clean and consistent, which reflects good sourcing. They release a nice pungency when crushed or soaked. Great staple for the kitchen.

This is a big bag and I feel that it is better to purchase whole seed rather than ground if you are not sure you can use it up in time. I passed half the bag to my friend. To use, I have tried adding to pickles (excellent, subtle) also making honey mustard by [1] soaking for a few hours [2] fermented the whole seeds in brine (2% salt of the combined weight of water and seeds) for 1-2 weeks, then blending the fermented seeds with a splash of vinegar and honey to taste. It smells sharp and pungent but is a very mild mustard. Happy with the quality but for those who like spicy, blend with brown mustard seeds.
Add into smoothie, not very strong taste. Like it is organic one.
Could not find organic mustard seed in bulk at any of my local grocers, so thought I'd try this Frontier Co-op selection. Good quality at a fair price. I use a lot of this canning veggies, so I'm glad to have a good source!
It's good mustard seed. It seems like good quality and smells mustardy. I used it to make my own mustard and it worked well for that
Consider using this mustard seed recipe. Soak in Bragg's apple cider vinegar to soften them to blend. The quality of these mustard seeds are superb. The ingredients are organic. The taste would be fresher than from a glass jar. Use a mixer and add Egmont Manuka honey to these softened seeds in their apple cider vinegar with a dash of Eden sea salt. iherb has the longest expiration dates, great packing and fastest shipping
This product is essential in my kitchen and I know frontier coop is a company I can rely on. I'm glad I can buy in bulk.
