Looks like tiny freeze dried lemon peel pieces so no allergic reactions! We use it on steaks and have put a teaspoon full in our cake recipes. Next I want to try it as a sprinkle on top of cream cheese icing. The taste is just enough and not zesty. We already ordered a second bottle.
Very good quality, taste and organic! Ingredient is lemon peel only I did purchase before and this is my second time I use it with all my chicken seasoning it gives a good flavour to it . This high quality organic lemon peel “spice” tastes so good and is in use by me almost every day! It was an ingredient in a now discontinued Mexican Spice Blend that we loved. It never occurred to me use lemon peel in anything but desserts! I My husband cannot have salt due to heart issues and likes his food to be spicy and flavorful! This organic lemon peel is high quality, composed of no other ingredients than organic lemon peel. This is the 1.70 ounce jar size package. Iherb wraps all their glass jars in bubble wrap for protection! This zesty lemon peel is made byFrontier Coop. I use about 1/2 teaspoon shaken out into Beyond Meat with other spices to make great taco meat etc. There are a lot of health benefits to spices! I make my own recipes and this is fabulous!! Fits my husband's heart healthy diet without salt! II use it every day, a little is all you need to add some zing and I will be buying this with great frequency!! good flavor, has a very vibrant smell. I like to use it for tea blends if I don't have fresh lemon. it also works well for lemon pepper seasoning
