I was skeptical about the suction but it works well on our table (smooth textured table, kind of like laminated wood), just need to ensure the parent latch is facing away from baby so they don't scratch it and release. Haven't used it for a full feed yet (bubs is too young) so hoping little flailing arms don't affect the suction (seems pretty strong).
