I use the kinky curly leave-in/detangler with the curling custard, and I have to say I was satisfied with the results, the scent is somewhat pleasant, but size was kinda small for my medium length hair, even though I had to use somewhat of a small portion to achieve the result
and the smell!!! i’m not sure if they should be allowed to make inedible things smell so delicious 😁 a very pleasant, sweet vanilla cupcake scent, jello or pudding like texture. tiny jar, but full till the brim and a little goes a long way. doesn’t upset my sensitive scalp, and the crunch it makes is very easy to scrunch out. definitely a repurchase! oh, and it’s FA safe!!
My daughter has curly hair and struggled finding a gel for her curls. She uses it daily, its scent is very sweet but not too strong. Very good quality, moisture stays for days and the custard lasts forever!
I live in high humid climate and my hair is thin, with soft waves. If I straighten them they will get fuzzy and fluffy in some hours, if I make curls they straighten up into same in-between mess. This gel hold them in humid!! It helps to enhance the curl, forming curl clumps, leaving hair light and voluminous. It holds for two days, second day is even more light and puffy (Shakira style) which is normally unachievable for me in humid. The only downside is long drying time but still 100/10 P.S I use it solo, on soaking wet hair right in the shower, plop 3-5 min and then hot diffuse until slight hold, then air dry
Been using it for 3 years now and its my absolute favorite. Light texture when it dries, the tub lasts forever, it smells amazing and easy to work with. We have curly hair and it is amazing. Doesn’t agitate the scalp, dries a little crunchy and then you can scrunch the crunch. Love it
The scent is incredible, very sweet bubblegum like. The proeuct itself is good, but I find it a bit difficult to fully figure out, also after a couple days my hair are looking kind stringy... I might need some more practice with it and/or reacconditioning. The quality is good though, and for its size, since you use so little quantity it lasts for a while.
Love this curly custard! It’s Organic & Great for My type of hair (3c/4a mix) If used together with the Kinky Curly Knot today you’ll get amazing definiton. If you use too much custard and it gets crunchy after it’s dry, just rub a light oil in your palms & go over your hair with it. Make sure to use very less oil, otherwise you’ll loose your definition. ;)
Product smells like vanilla custard! good sized pot, lasted a month. I have long fine hair and it didn't weigh it down. There isn't a lot of "hold" in the product, and not "crunchy" like some mousse products. Didn't cut the frizzyness as much as I was hoping it to.
Kinky curly is a great natural gel for my wavy hair. Super consistency and wonderful smell! My curls are soft and defined. great quality, size that will last a long time
