HPF, Cholestene™, 120 Capsules (600 mg per Capsule)

I have never written a review before, but I just had to with this supplement. My last blood test showed that I had high cholesterol and my doctor was going to put me on medication. I talked him into allowing me two months to try and do it on my own. In that two months I worked on eating healthier and researched alternatives to the cholesterol medications. I came across this supplement and read the reviews, and it was also recommended. I tried it out for the two months, but only took one capsule in the morning and one in the evening since my numbers were not that high. It was amazing. I dropped my overall cholesterol by 66 and my bad cholesterol by 51. All within a two month time frame and am now well within the normal range for cholesterol. Not one problem taking it, and no side effects at all. This product is a true blessing and I am so glad to be able to have an alternative to prescription medication. Thank you!

i have a blood test in Jan 2013 so i will update if the cholesterol had dropped or not from my regular 250 units.UPDATE:looks like this product delivers what its suppose to do,my cholesterol is lower than before,about 40 point in 2 months,but i stopped concerning about my cholesterol becauce it looks like MD's are obsessed with it and lowering the upper limit everyday just to give statin drugs to everyone when scientific research shows that cholesterol is essential to our body and myelin brain at bout 220 to 280 units and below this you are risking with several chronic illnesses.....you are welcome to rate & read my other reviews

This product really works. I take it for about a year, and has lowered my total cholestero and LDL into normal levels (from 250 to 190). For three months I had swithed to "Doctors's best" ryr, same dose, but chol. went up. So, I am back to cholestene.

Ok. This. Stuff. Works! I am allergic to prescription statins so the side effects were awful! My Dr recommended trying red yeast rice to lower my cholesterol numbers which was at 269 or I would have to go on a low dose statin. Found cholestene while looking for natural remedies and it looked promising. I took 3 capsules twice a day along with 2 natrol extreme omega caps. My 3 month follow up numbers were 212!! Working!!! 😁 Will keep taking!

My husband went off his colestrol medication (oked with dr) his numbers have been better than it was gen he was taking prescription. He takes it everyday!

My cholesterol issue is hereditary. I have been on cholesterol drugs for years. Even though I'm taking the drugs, my cholesterol reading is still not very good. My overall cholesterol is always on the borderline, sometimes slioghtly below 200, sometimes slightly over 200. If I stopped taking the drugs for weeks the reading go beyond 300! I started taking Cholestene since January 2016, 2 capsules in the morning with my breakfast. After taking the capsules for 3 months, I took my blood test last week, and the result was good! My total cholesterol dropped to 162. My HDL increased a lot & my LDL dropped to 81! My triglycerides also in good range! I'll continue taking my cholesterol drugs, but plan to cut the dosage to half! Will continue taking the Cholestene until my next blood test 6 months later. If the result is still good, I may consider ditching the drugs and take only Cholestene! Well, will update the review in 6 months time :)

Not sure whether this is completely attributable to Cholestene, but after taking it for a month, and losing 6 pounds, my LDL was reduced by 14 points! I have had high LDL for several years, and despite changes to my diet and exercise, I was never able to realize such a drop in my LDL level. As a result, I just bought a four month supply!

A doctor recommended this brand. My cholesterol is now normal taking as directed for 6 weeks...in fact now on the low side so I cut back on the dosage for maintainance. My husband has been taking it for years and his numbers are perfect. Update 12/2016. Still use this product when I need it. My husband uses it daily and has for years. His doctor is amazed that his cholesterol numbers are so good without drugs.

This product brought my cholesterol level down from 6.1 to 5.2 in 4 months. This was after I had been advised to go on medication . At my latest check up I was told that I do not need medication. It clearly worked and I would advise anyone to at least give it a try.

I have used this product for years and can attest that it truly works to reduce cholesterol levels. Blood work doesn't lie. Before taking Cholestene, my overall cholesterol was around 240 ... now it stays around 180.
