I have combination skin and lately it's getting drier and drier with age, so I was looking for a gentle, cream cleanser for every day use. I love this brand, I love the fact that it's cruelty free and environmentally conscious, and this is a lovely, gentle cleanser, but it really isn't effective at removing my makeup. I use it as a second cleanser (aside from my oil based balm) and it doesn't really complement it that well. I think this is perfect for mornings and for people who don't wear much makeup or only sunscreen. I love MH but I think I'll purchase the jelly cleanser next time.

What first attracted me to this Mad Hippie Cream Cleanser is that it is a gentle cleanser that is a true cream. I was wanting a cream cleanser because my facial skin is very picky in what it likes. I gave this a try and the skin on my face was instantly thanking me! It was the perfect consistency; nice and creamy. While I was massaging it into my skin, I felt like I was taken to a far away garden in a far away land, and then I was lightly smelling orchid at the end and it was so fantastic. I literally can’t wait to use this every morning! It’s like going to my fantasy world where everything is happy and there are butterflies and flowers. The scent is not overpowering at all. My skin is left feeling so soft and smooth. It’s so awesome too because it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin and it does not give me any breakouts! Love that it has jojoba oil in it; it hydrates and moisturizes my skin. This cleanser does not strip your skin. Great that it’s vegan, GMO free, and cruelty free. It comes in a glass bottle so make sure you recycle it! I think it’s a little high of a price for 4 oz., but I would definitely buy again and I would recommend!

So as I've said in my first review, I was going to finish the bottle since I didn't want it to go to waste. I finished the bottle and am now in love with this cream cleanser! My face doesn't feel stripped or dry afterwards, it feels clean but also moisturized (unlike with foam cleansers I have tried that leave your face feeling super clean but also tight and a bit dry?). I think I just had to get used to this. Be aware though that if you're also a foam cleanser type of person and you want to try this, it might take a while for you to appreciate the cream cleanser! But do give it a try! Previous review: It's a good product but I didn't realize it was a cream cleanser (or didn't understand what a cream cleanser was). It doesn't foam or lather which is what I prefer with my cleansers. It feels a bit oily after washing. I'm going to finish my bottle though, but would probably look for something that foams but is still vegan and cruelty-free afterwards.

About a year ago my face was freaking out after a long camping weekend. I decided to find a new, affordable cleanser that doesn't test on animals and has pretty eco-friendly packaging. I love the results. My skin is clean and doesn't get that tight feeling when I use this. It also gets all my makeup off really effectively and gently. If you're someone that has oily skin you might not like it, but if you're someone who seeks more moisture or someone looking for a gentle makeup remover then this would be good for you. The smell is pretty mellow.

I really love this Mad Hippie face cream cleanser! The quality is excellent, and it feels so gentle and moisturizing on my skin. I love this cleanser. Its creamy, smooth and works great. Smells nice but not overly fragrant. Cheaper than any advertised high end cleanser but works just as well. Great deal.

Mad Hippie is such a good brand! I love their products. They have good ingredients that are nontoxic. The cleanser was good but not drying for mature skin that is still combination. anything too heavy or oily makes my skin feel greasy for days. This is just right! good for sensitive skin and actually feels moisturizing.

My favorite facial cleanser! Soft and gentle with a mild to neutral scent. Feels so nice to wash with. Like a creamy milk cleanser. Love mad hippie quality and ingredients.
