Olive Squalane Oil, 2 fl oz (59 ml)

Simple, ergonomic, high quality package. Useful droplet cup bottle. What about Squalane itself, I use it after the shower to prevent face skin dryness. Surprisingly it doesn't leave the skin greasy and oily. I also stated it reduces skin pigmentation and small wrinkles disappeared as well. I recommend to apply Squalane in small amonts also in long hair after washing to smoothen hair surface, for shiny look, best results of hairdressing and to prevent hair damage. It really works! Same as with skin, hair doesn't become greasy. Squalane has almost no smell.

I confused squalane for squalene. So it was a misunderstanding that got me started on this oil, but it's great anyway. My goal was to improve the ceramide:cholesterol:fatty acid ratio in my skincare. I read that squalene is a precursor to cholesterol. So I started mixing drops of this oil to my usual carrier oils, hoping to get some cholesterol in. It turns out that squalane is a saturated form of squalene, and the former does not convert to cholesterol. But it is a more stable oil, less comedogenic, and beneficial in its own right when applied topically. So I'll stick to it for now.

The absorption of this product is very good. I normally use this with Heritage Store Rosewater as a toner and then apply the squalene on top for faster absorption. This is my 2nd bottle and have noticed that my skin is less dry around the cheeks. Scent-wise, it has a light fruit like note to it similiar to rosehip oil. Not overwhelming but can add a few drops of your favourite essential oil to make it smell great. Item was bought during iHERB 20% promo so its definitely more value for money for this size; otherwise considered a bit pricey.

Turns out my favorite moisturizer from Kiehl’s uses Squalane in it. My skin loves it!!! It soaks this oil up like crazy. It does not leave my skin oily, but just super moisturized. I use before my sunscreen, and makeup and it produces a flawless look. A drop goes a long way. If I can find a bigger bottle I will be using this on my body as well.

I like to use this in my double cleanse routine. It is a wonderful oil. My skin glows and is so soft and radiant when I include this in my daily cleansing routine. This goes on first, I massage it into my skin and then use my cream cleanser. Wow. Great skin.

Smooth application. Very good for a basic mousturizer that won’t irritate skin. Good company. Quality ingredients. Nice packaging and really good size because you only need a little to get a lot of moisture. Nice for the cold season when skin gets dry. Lovely texture and very good composition

The box colour is wonderful.Very practical to use with the dropper. Odourless that is what is needed for the skin. I mix it with olive oil for the face before going to bed. In the morning no more dryness of the skin. Very soft and radiant. Very good quality. The size is apt.
