Selenium, 200 mcg, 100 Capsules

Initially I bought these to help support my thyroid as it's underactive. I assume they are doing their job alongside VitD, K and B12 however I have found them to be exceptionally good at improving sleep quality. I have narcolepsy so nighttime sleep can be sporadic, non refreshing, fitful and painful. Quite by accident I started taking this selenium just as I went to bed and found that my nighttime sleep became less fitful and I woke up less during the night. They actually increased my deep sleep ability. I wouldn't be without this product purely for the help with sleep, any other benefit is a bonus.

Its a clean product! Inside capsule is white powder but the one I use before it went out of stock is not. The selenium i have been using has been out of stock for awhile. Am trying this as a replacement. You can overdose on selenium (do rbc selenium test often) so you have to be careful. Otherwise, it is a powerful anti-cancer mineral. For Iodine Protocol, start with Salt, Selenium, Vitamin C and B Vitamins. If you are hypo only, wait 2-weeks before introducing iodine. If you have a Hashi's diagnosis, wait 2-months before introducing iodine. The effects you may feel from iodine are detox symptoms. Salt will help with detoxing. MOST IMPORTANTLY, pls make sure you test your selenium levels (especially people with MTHFR mutations) as they do get toxic and doesn't get excreted easily.
