This always works for me. At the very first sign of a cold sore (when I start to feel a little tingle) I use it on my lip. I apply it throughout the day and at bedtime. Cold sores are not a problem for me anymore. Small package but it still helps for a long time. Like months and months. So don't be discouraged by the small packaging as the quality is very decent.
