I only Frontier Co-Op organic spices and herbs because they do not irradiate their products. I have been buying this saffron for a couple years and the quality is always consistently good. Saffron is very good for your health and they say it's anti-cancer.
I love adding Saffron to my tea. It gives lots of nutrients. I also enjoy adding it to rice.

These Saffron Threads were very good. Fresh, potent, and good for the price.
I’m sure the saffron itself is good quality. Unfortunately, the plastic it is packaged in absolutely reeks of nasty chemicals. I hoped it didn’t impact the actual product, but I made tea with the saffron itself and the tea tasted like hot plastic. It was awful. I absolutely don’t recommend this. Even if you just use the saffron for color, I can’t imagine it’s actually safe or healthy.
Prior to buying them from Iherb, I was getting the saffron from Costco. But Costco stopped selling it. So this was the next best thing. Again, I can't say enough good things about this brand. Their quality is always top notch.
