I've tried multiple brands of protein powders and from the chocolate flavor, Vega Sports protein keeps winning again and again. It's also my husband's favorite. Doesnt have that artificial taste, I can even eat eat without diluting in any liquid, just on top of fruit and yoghurt. You should try it!
I have tried many Vega Chocolate Protein powders where I keep coming back to this one even tho it's a little more expensive. I found it has the best taste for my protein shakes, where I blend it with 1 banana, 6 strawberries, 5 ice cubes, 3 cups of almond milk, and a tablespoon of almond spread. I love the taste of the chocolate, where it tastes more organic compared to most chocolates that have lots of sugar. I believe this is why some reviewers here don't like the taste of this product cause they are used to chocolate with lots of sugar. It tastes great with just milk and water as well.

Great plant-based protein with 30 g per serving and very satisfying after workouts. Creamy chocolate flavor is delicious, not too sweet, and mixes well in smoothies. Helps with muscle recovery, I feel less sore after training and more energized. Love that it’s vegan, gluten free, and includes BCAAs and probiotics for extra recovery support. One of the best-tasting vegan proteins I’ve tried, no heavy bloating for me.
I like this for plant based protein powder as it is not too chalky. High quality, works well by itself or when used in baking.

Taste is not too sweet, which is good. I use it as breakfast, pre and post workout. Filling and gives enough energy. Plant based also suited my taste.
I am surprised. It tastes better than previous version! It does not have that weird salty after taste, as it had before. I’ve been using this protein powder for years and in my opinion changes in formula is an improvement. Is it the best tasting protein powder on the market? - Probably not.
