I emailed the brand for the lot/batch number in order to get the IFOS report. The brand stated that not every batch is IFOS tested and assured that the fish oil is pure. Duh, then this should be clearly mentioned on the product page. Otherwise it is misleading. I bought this brand mainly because of its IFOS testing claim. I only take half a teaspoon per day or else it gives me severe reactions like diarrhea, itching, acne. Too soon to tell the results on cognition. No fishy aftertaste or fishy burps. I'm giving this to a person with dementia. Omega 3 DHA is very important to the brain for repair. One tsp gives you 2270 mg of DHA. He takes it very well and it's a once a day dosing instead of those huge capsules he would otherwise have to take. I trust Carlson Labs to make an excellent product.
First time I see such high amount of DHA in a fish oil. Decided to try it out due to the amazing effects on brain. So far haven't experienced colossal effects but you have to take in 2-3 weeks to notice them.
