Whenever i have a discomfort in that area, i would rather take this supplement rather than taking antibiotics as long as my doctor allows it. And so far, i guess my problem isnt that serious so im good with supplements. The sourness of cranberry kills the bacteria in the bladder.
After doing some personal research about D-Mannose, I purchased these to open the capsule and sprinkle in my cats food when he was having trouble urinating, for him, thankfully they did the job. I continued to use it for him whenever I felt concerned he was starting to have issues again (by observing the amount of urine in his kitty litter) worked each time. He obviously didn't mind the taste as he would still eat his food :) this was a few years ago now, the ingredients / quality was great for what I needed it for. ** I didn't use the whole capsule, would just sprinkle what I guessed would be enough for the taste not to bother him each time, from memory was no more than 1/4 a capsule each meal until I seen improvement
This product is excellent for sufferers of recurrent Urinary tract infections (UTI's). I have tried other brands in the past without success. I have also being taking Cranberry capsules for years and I still had to go on antibiotic treatments often. I didn't buy it right away to start with because of the price, however, buying a cheaper brand, did not work for me and I had to take 4 capsules per dose instead of the 2 on this brand, and this one WORKS! So "my savings" were useless. I truly recommend this brand, I don't even have to take it every day, and since I'm on it, I haven't taken antibiotics. At the sign of symptoms I go right back on it as prescribed and stay on it. I will keep buying it!

I've been taking Zhou's Cran-Defense for probably a year as protection for the urinary tract. It's easy to take and contains both the D-Mannos and the cranberry, which is really nice. It also includes a small amount of Vitamin C. It's vegan & Non-GMO. I'm extremely pleased with Zhou's Cran-Defense. It works!
I keep these on hand at all times. Whenever I feel like I have a UTI coming on I take one and it seems to stop it.
