I often wake up in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep. If I take three capsules of this before bed, I can fall back asleep even if I wake up.
Valerian root has been part of my family's sleep protocol for several years. The ingredients are good quality, the size of the bottle is very nice at 180 caps, & the dosage is adjustable according to your need. I'm good with 1 cap of 500 mg but hubby needs 1000 mg. The benefit is the calming of the CNS so you can drift off to sleep. Valerian root is stinky, every brand, so just think about the good night's sleep you're going to get as you swallow it down ;)
A friend of mine convinced me to get Valerian, I had heard about it from my grand grandmother long ago, but never tried it before, so I finally purchased it, let me tell you this "works" it relaxed me and helped me sleep well, the only thing I don't like is the smell it's weird but I can deal with it, I like the benefits over the smell. It's a big pill but I am used to taking big pills I don't mind. Overall good ingredients, and a big bottle lasts a long time I would say I take this five days a week.
