Esophageal Guardian, Berry, 60 Vegetarian Chewable Tablets

I had RSV twice and had a chronic cough for five months. It turned out I had underlying silent reflux which I wasn’t aware of. I tried everything under the sun and even pantoprazole which didn’t help the symptoms of the acid reflux/cough. I took these supplements for a week and my cough disappeared. Excellent product for people in a similar situation trying to alleviate symptoms of silent reflux . Don’t bother with pantop or buscopan.

I eat one meal a day and at night and when I am training I often feel a slight heart burn, therefore I regularly take a half tablet before bed and before training. A half a tablet is enough for me. I had esophagitis years ago, and recently started taking Betaine Hcl, and to make sure things don't go to south, I take it when I am horizontal. I am happy that it contains just a small amount of calcium carbonate and like the taste. Update (25th of oct, 2024): watch out, it's delicious and if one can't control his/her cravings, it's easy to eat it like a candy. I stopped buying it now, because of this reason (my bad). Still it is a very useful supplement. I'm now taking PepZin GI, and seems like taking regularly that one is taking care of my issues well. My son needed a tablet with higher calcium carbonate content (Acid Rescue by Country Life) than this, he had more problems recently with heart burning.

I’ve been dealing with reflux and stomach yin deficiency. I’m taking spirulina, Chlorella, chrysanthemum, peppermint leaf capsules and more to cool off the body. Using slippery elm and Shatavari to coat the insides. These chewables though are odd and take some getting used to but they absolutely help. I keep a bottle in my purse. Alginic acid is key and PH Balance. Also taking bladderwrack or kelp for alginic acid.

I have a hiatus hernia and barret's esophagus. I am on Pantoprazole but still get flairs time to time and this along with aloevera drink is the savior

Works great for my partner, who loves getting spicy meals but then unfortunately getting very sensitive on his stomach. Any time he has a full course meal, he would take the pill within 1 hour after he had it. This had helped him partially resolve the reflux, so definitely ok to give it a try
