This is a great, simple and toxin free shampoo. My hair feels clean but not stripped. It’s easy to work through and has some slip while I’m lathering. I have curly/dry hair (2c/3a) and this is one of the better natural shampoos I’ve used. I just wish it came in a larger bottle.
As a fragrance-free shampoo, it smells plasticy to me. However, the smell does not linger for too long after washing it off. Consistency is just nice, not too thick or watery. Also, I find my hair volume increasing a little after using it. Does not irritate scalp.
I’m hoping this shampoo doesn’t ever get discontinued. Everyone’s hair is different so my experience can’t predict how anyone else will like it, but it works for me. I needed something fragrance-free (not even plant essences or oils) that wouldn’t make my spouse’s hair tangly and cleaned my scalp/hair without being drying. I tried basically every big brand fragrance-free option and a lot didn’t lather well - I have very hard water so that could be a factor. This lathers and acts like a normal shampoo…
I have very sensitive skin and this shampoo does not bother my skin and seems very gentle. It leaves my hair clean and shiny without all the chemicals in most other shampoos.
